Let your name be sanctified.—Matt. 6:9.
That is what Jesus stated as a priority in prayer. But what do Jesus’ words mean? To sanctify something means to make it holy, clean, or pure. Some might wonder, though, ‘Is not Jehovah’s name already holy, clean, and pure?’ To answer, we need to think about what a name involves. A name is more than a collection of letters written on a page or spoken aloud. Notice what the Bible says: “A good name is to be chosen rather than great wealth.” (Prov. 22:1; Eccl. 7:1) Why does a name have such value? Because it involves a reputation, what others think of the one bearing that name. So the way a name appears on a page—or even the way it is pronounced—is not what matters most; what truly matters is whom and what that name stands for in the minds and hearts of others. When people tell lies about Jehovah, they are attacking his reputation. When they attack his reputation, they are trying to damage his name. w20.06 3 ¶5-7
Yes what does A name mean to you ? A name means so much Everything that you are made up of like work ethics Being meek mild mannered Lots and lots Go into your name Infact Your Whole life On earth Is your time to shine your The star of this Show or rather Movie Called "your life " Staring You You've done wonderful thusly So go break a leg you got this just remember there's lot's more for you to see & go so many things ,you must teach others ,share as much as you can. Oh its your time batter up youll do great In heaven since you worked life long to fill a name That you can Beam with Pride not the bad the the hv worked hard long To be All the hard work Love and Learning Who and you want to be to become someone y are you very own one of a kind to make your name SHOULD MEAN A LOT 2u It should be heading the top of every letter head , One study group members said 'its Like wearing a crown Like a KING wears.However it goes so much deeper then material things Meaningful h work goes into a name many years of Cultivating nurturing & feeding oneself. ReplyDeleteall that your Seven senses take in how you ingest them separt and file it if u know it if not how you learn it how you came to know it the way you do when someone else has same experience but sees it all different the smell the taste the feel what they see all may be dig in their eye because of how we are taught to process and react to these or how much your allowed as a child it all is just a partial thar adds up to a Formed Customized Working machine of you what your leave behind will tell in how your name and story are remembered and told how much at once how you are input how they are
